Constant Current Power Source Laboratory LD driver

A pulsed current source designed to drive laser diode,bars,arrays which has integrated a driver circuit and TEC temperature controller.It can be controlled both on site through the front panel and remotely through computer connected with the rear panel RS232 interface.The LD driving current range and limit,pulse width and frequency,TEC maximum voltage,TEC expected temperature,visible instant current and temperature,can be set up from the front panel operations.There are 10 driving modes designed for operator quick set-up and record.It will recover the recent previous operation control method and mode parameters.Information of working state,fault, simple guidance etc. can be displayed on LCD,too.On the computer connected to RS232 interface of rear panel the LD limits of current,operating current and TEC temperature values can be set up remotely as well as on-off, parameter and state checking,data recieving operations.

Current Limit
A precisely adjustable current limit ensures that the maximum laser current cannot be exceeded. An attempt to increase the laser drive current above the pre-set limit will result in a visible and short audible indicator. Even when utilizing the external modulation feature, the current limit set-point cannot be exceeded.
